What is the Wushu Federation of Israel?

Wushu (kung-fu) Federation of Israel is an officially registered non-profit organization, formally recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Sports.
It is dedicated to the development of Wushu in the country and holds the exclusive right to represent Israel on the international stage.

Does the Wushu Federation of Israel receive government funding?

Yes, Wushu Federation of Israel receives government funding. However, it covers only about 15% of the annual budget required for the federation’s full operation.

How much does a national team athlete spend on training and competition participation?

Due to insufficient government funding,national team athletes are required to cover a large portion of their expenses themselves. These include training camps, sports equipment, flight tickets to competitions, accommodation, and other related costs.
On average, an individual athlete spends between 15,000 and 20,000 shekels per year.

What will the funds raised be used for?

All funds raised will be allocated exclusively to the preparation of the national team athletes: covering the costs of training camps, training equipment, flights, accommodation, and participation in international competitions.
